About me
Natalie is an experienced journalist who has worked in a range of on-air roles at the BBC since she joined the organisation in 1996. After many years on the road as a reporter she is now the anchor of the daily regional news TV programme South East Today. For 11 years she also presented a weekly current affairs programme and a political discussion programme. Natalie has become increasingly involved in efforts to improve the wellbeing of her colleagues. She carried out a review of the BBC's Mental Health First Aid network in 2021, then helped set up the BBC's new Peer Support Network. In 2023 she completed an MSc in Workplace Health and Wellbeing. She is also a trained Workplace Mediator and has recently been involved in the selection of a new EAP provider for the BBC.
