About me
Izabela Moi is a journalist with almost three decades of professional experience. She has been a specialist in education coverage, primarily at Folha de SPaulo, where she also served as an editor and training manager. Additionally, she has worked as a communication coordinator in major foundations dedicated to enhance public education in Brazil. In 2014-15, she was selected as a fellow in the Stanford University program in California, focusing on entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation in journalism. With a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in sociology, she currently serves as a visiting professor in professional master's programs in communication and journalism at the Institut Français de Presse, in Paris. She is also a mentor at the International Press Institute's acceleration program in innovation for local journalism, in Vienna. She is cofounder (2010) and executive director at the Agencia Mural de Jornalismo das Periferias.
