About me
Tricia is a mental health professional, educator, journalist, and advocacy specialist. She's a psychologist at Mind Care Center – Perpetual Help Medical Center, Childfam-Possibilities Psychological Services, and Argao Psych.
She also teaches at the University of the Philippines-Diliman Department of Psychology.
Prior to becoming a licensed psychologist, she had a 12-year career as a broadcast journalist, working as a correspondent and anchor for RPN 9 and GMA 7, and as an Executive Producer for CNN Philippines.She worked in the humanitarian sector as a Communications Officer for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) – HongKong, and served in the government as the Chief of the Public Relations and Information Division of the Philippine Space Agency.
Tricia was part of VERA Files’ 2023 Media Ownership Monitoring as lead researcher, and among the Peer Supporters of the mental health and psychosocial support project of the Peace and Conflict Journalism Network Philippines (PECOJON).
