About me
Nicole Martin is a feminist investigative journalist from Argentina and the Executive Director of Vita Activa, a helpline that gives online support and strategic solutions for women and LGBTIQ+ journalists, activists and gender, land and labor rights, and freedom of expression defenders. Driven by her interest in grassroot communities, she co-founded Revista Colibri, a cooperative independent magazine made by women. Her professional quest is aimed at creating and strengthening networks between feminist organizations. She has organized spaces of collaboration between women in the media, like collaborative investigations. Also, Nicole has written in-depth journalism pieces for Diario Perfil and Revista Noticias, among others. She is passionate about feminisms and her interests include human rights, health, politics, territorial conflicts and social problems in general. Her research thesis was on art, work and culture in Buenos Aires prisons.
