About me
My name is Betty Komujuni a presenter at Tv West under Vision Group. I am a qualified Human Resource Graduate with an honors degree from Makerere University, I hold a diploma in Education (Secondary) from Kyambogo University, and also hold a series of certificates in Journalism and also Peer Counseling from Care Uganda. Presently I am undertaking an online master’s degree in Leadership from Trinity Western University Canada.
I have done the above for more than 16 years and I strongly believe that emotional well-being is just as important to us as breathing is. I have a passion for giving people hope even when sometimes their brains tell them there isn’t.
I am 44 years of age and a mother of three but in 2020 I lost their father.
After the loss of my husband, I tried politics to hide my pain, but did not go through. Despite my experience as a counselor, I failed to counsel myself. Grief took a toll on me, I became hopeless and lost a reason for living but thank God for my line of duty, it was at that time that I heard of WIN which took me on and got me a counselor that got me back on track. I managed to pull myself together, embrace the situation, get hopeful and become a force to reckon with and a pillar for my young family and also a productive employee at work.
