About me
Hala is the Senior Program Specialist at ARIJ, with a rich blend of humanitarian, project management, and educational experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish/English Language and Literature from the University of Jordan and a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Granada, Spain. Her career includes serving as a Consular Section Assistant and Protection Officer at the Mexican Embassy and as an interpreter for the Spanish Embassy. She made significant contributions with the Spanish Red Cross in Toledo, Spain, providing essential support to refugees as they resettled and adapted to their new environment. Hala was a Fulbright scholar while teaching Arabic and Spanish at Colorado State University and has also taught Spanish at the University of Jordan. Additionally, she worked as an Arabic lecturer and translator at the Toledo School of Translators and coordinated a project for a European Union Twinning initiative in Jordan.
